Hard wooden heart.
A soft, fat, pear shaped body:
easy to mash and mold.
Best when crushed and mixed with acid.
Groping hands squeeze you endlessly:
hardness is frowned upon.
Too soft and it’s goodbye as well.
Loved at the party, but
dark and miserable in the morning.
Leaves hard-to-remove stains.
All dark spots are to be cut away.
